POCO, which is Xiaomi’s sub-scissor and is popular in our country, has launched its affordable flagship model in India. POCO F6 and its expected features
The BIS certificate that India gives to new electronic devices entering the country also caused a significant leak for the new POCO F6. Accordingly, the affordable flagship has the certification number 2311RK481. Previously, the Redmi K70 Pro model had the certification number 2311DRK48C. In this sense, this similarity seen in the certification numbers reveals that the model is a rebranded version of the K70 Pro.
As you know, the Redmi K70 Pro model has ambitious features in terms of both processor and screen. Using a mid-upper level processor, especially in the POCO F5 model, Xiaomi has shifted up the F series again. If we look at the Redmi K70 Pro features, the F6 model will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Of course, it is expected that the K70 Pro model will include an 8 Gen 3 processor. However, considering that the POCO F6 model will be the affordable flagship, it is likely to come with 8 Gen 2.
Especially, it has become a habit for Xiaomi to include the previous year’s flagship processor in the POCO F series. According to expectations, on the screen side, POCO F6 features will include FHD + AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support. It is expected that the selfie camera will come with a hole.
According to estimates, the smartphone will appear in the first quarter of 2024. In this sense, we expect more details about the POCO F6 design and features to emerge soon. ,
Although there is no development regarding the price of the smartphone yet, it is located between the flagship and mid-upper level of the F series models. The models, which are quite assertive on the processor side, also challenge the flagship models on the screen and camera side. In this sense, it is also expected that the new F6 model will be a flagship killer.
