The original production was about a race of blue aliens living on a planet called Pandora. The habitats of these creatures, known as the Na’vi people, were threatened by human mining operations. It also appears that our main characters have 2 children, one human and the other Na’Vi, and they will play a major role in the new movie.
In addition, it will reunite actors we saw in the original production, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder and Matt Gerald. Also joining the cast are new names such as Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel and CJ Jones.
