Fidelity Digital Assets has released a survey report investigating investments in cryptocurrencies in the face of growing interest from both institutional investors and retail.
In the report, it was stated that the bull market in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies was effective in investors entering the market and investing.
While 52% of investors surveyed worldwide say they have invested in Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, Asians are clearly ahead of investors from other countries.
70% of Asian investors surveyed for the first time this year said they have cryptocurrency in their portfolio.
33% of US citizens and 56% of European citizens have invested in crypto.
Across Europe and the U.S., growth has been seen year-on-year in nearly every category, including perception and attractiveness, current risk and future investment propensity, the report said.
44% of surveyed investors see the lack of fundamental data for a more reasonable value and the volatility of the price of cryptocurrencies as barriers to investing.
The survey also concluded that 70% of all participating investors have a “neutral to positive” attitude towards digital assets.
Nearly 90 percent of investors said they find digital investments attractive because the biggest incentive for them to invest is the potential for high returns.
