This situation was thought to be due to the war between Russia and Ukraine in the first place. In fact, on February 25, 2022, on the Raid Forums Telegram channel, the administrator codenamed Jaw officially confirmed that the forum was hacked. No posts were made on the Telegram channel in question afterward.

In this context, users started to encounter a warning text that they were banned from the site when they tried to log in to the forum with their member information. As this situation continued, allegations were made that the forum was seized by the FBI.

A Twitter user named “vx-underground”, known for his research and sharing on cyber security issues a while ago, claimed that Raidforums was seized by the FBI. The following expressions were used in the post;

Finally, last year, hackers claimed that they had seized personal data of 60 million users such as open address, name, surname and phone number from the database of a local company, and demanded ransom from the platform. The company, on the other hand, stated that they would not even consider this situation and announced that they had started the legal process on the subject.
