Ethereum developers, staking created a new testnet to work on a system that will play a role in withdrawals.

Marius Van Der Wijden, one of the leading names of the smart contract platform, emphasized that the Shanghai update planned for next year is important for ETH.
“Our new trial is the first devnet to enable withdrawals across all apps and is a giant leap forward.”
Wijden explained that Ethereum users can participate in the Shanghai Testnet as they wish so that they can detect potential bugs. The developer stated that for now, they only focus on withdrawals on the testnet network. Ethereum Shanghai Other features of the update are not yet in the testing phase.
