Enough doses available for more corona booster vaccinations – USA tighten corona entry rules

the Corona pandemic according to a study, for jevery second person a stress factor. This is the result of a study by the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK). Then around half answered yes to the question of whether their life has become more stressful since the pandemic. “Stress is bad for your health,” said Professor Bertolt Meyer from the Technical University of Chemnitz on Wednesday about the third stress study “Relax, Germany” by the health insurance company.

Data from 1000 people aged 18 and over were evaluated. The question was asked in March 2021 in the second lockdown, which had an impact on the answers, said Meyer.

Important reasons for stress are, for example, work, school and studies (47 percent) or a serious illness of a loved one (31 percent). Meyer sees a clear influence of the corona pandemic here. “Concern for close relatives who were ill played a subordinate role in the previous surveys.”

The pandemic is also making itself felt in the relaxation strategies. “Social activities such as meeting friends and acquaintances were still in third place in 2016,” said Meyer. Due to the pandemic, this was only possible to a limited extent. “Instead, people have recovered from activities that they can do alone, such as pursuing their hobby, gardening or listening to music.”
