Employment mobilization for future software developers from MEB and Turkcell

Turkcell has launched a new education and employment campaign with the “Who Writes the Future – Investing in Youth, Software for the Future” Program. With this vocational training program, implemented for the first time in Turkey in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and Turkcell, senior university students and graduates will be provided with training, certification and employment opportunities in the field of software technologies.

Participants, who will also receive one-to-one mentoring support during the 6-month program, will have the opportunity to work in Turkcell’s new software company Atmosware and Turkcell group companies after successfully completing the program.

Continuing to contribute to Turkey’s qualified workforce with the training programs it has implemented, Turkcell offers an important opportunity to young people within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and Turkcell. Turkcell aims to make a difference with the program, which is the first in Turkey, aiming to prepare young people for the software world, to have high competencies in the field of coding, and thus to bring qualified workforce to the domestic software ecosystem.

University software developers who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity to work at Turkcell and its group companies, as well as Turkcell’s software company Atmosware. Thus, the participants will gain an important advantage in employment in different companies with the vocational qualification certificates they will be entitled to at the end of the training.

Undergraduate and graduate students and graduates will be able to participate in the program, which reflects Turkcell’s institutional knowledge and prepared by Turkcell Academy. Participants whose applications are accepted will be given online training through the “Platform for Writers of the Future”.

Participants who successfully complete the training will then enter the technical test and interview process. Participants who pass this stage will be taken to a 6-month bootcamp program.

During the program, young people who will participate in online and in-class training will also be given one-on-one mentoring support. In this context, participants will also have the chance to receive on-the-job training at Turkcell. After completing the program, participants will have the opportunity to work full-time at Turkcell and group companies if they are successful in the exams to be held.

In the 6-month bootcamp program, there will be training and development opportunities in 6 different focuses for the participants.
