E-mobility & the automotive industry in Germany: How to do it faster

The automotive industry is the most important branch of industry in Germany. In order for it to stay that way in times of climate change, a rethink is necessary. At the Handelsblatt Autogipfel, presenter Ina Karabasz puts three central theses on the future of industry up for debate. One of them: The plug-in hybrid has no future in Germany.

The Handelsblatt editor discussed these and two other exciting theses with André Schmidt, President of Toyota Deutschland GmbH, and Wolf-Henning Scheider, CEO of one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, the ZF Group. In today’s episode, you will find out what suppliers need to meet the changed demand of the automotive groups and what is slowing down the further development of e-mobility in Germany.
