The impending crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe has received an updated release window. The most recent outing in either movie franchise was Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which premiered on June 9, and has become the eighth highest-grossing movie of the year with a worldwide box office total of $427.5 million. In addition to reinvigorating the Transformers franchise, Rise of the Beasts concluded with a tease of an impending crossover with the characters from G.I. Joe.
