Despite some weak tendencies, Dax is holding up well – local professionals are switching to the short side

Dusseldorf After almost three weeks in the new stock market year, the Dax is at a similar level to the end of 2021. In the first hour of trading, the leading index was at 15,854 points, an increase of 0.3 percent. At the end of the year, the Frankfurt benchmark was 15,885 points.

The stock market barometer has thus returned to its trading range of the past week, which is between 16,000 points on the upper and 15,800 points on the lower side. Investors should only hope for a continuation of the rally if the Dax can overcome the high of 16,090 points from the previous week. Then a new record high should come into focus again, i.e. prices above 16,290 points,
