Delivery service is looking for investors again

Dusseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt Just last September, the express delivery service Gorillas collected around 860 million euros. According to information from financial and industry circles, founder Kagan Sümer is again looking for investors for his start-up. The company confirmed on request that it is currently in a financing round.

In an interview at the beginning of the year, Sümer said that he was hoping for at least 630 million euros for the next round of financing. However, market participants assume that it will probably be closer to 500 million euros. In circles it is said that the round could be completed as early as May. The new round of financing is to be coordinated by the investment bank JP Morgan, the insiders report. Gorillas does not want to comment on the details.
