Dusseldorf On the first day of the European central bank conference, investors in the German stock market are hesitant. An hour and a half after the start of trading, the leading index Dax was almost unchanged on Tuesday at 15,819 points.
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange Barometer is therefore stuck in its consolidation phase, which it entered at the beginning of June. On Monday, the Dax went down 0.1 percent at 15,813 points.
The annual central bank conference of the European Central Bank, which began today in Sintra, Portugal, did not provide any impetus for trade in the morning either. In her opening speech, ECB President Christine Lagarde reaffirmed the goal of bringing inflation in the euro zone to the target level of two percent as soon as possible and maintaining it there, “come what may”.
