Dax turns negative – concerns about the gas crisis are growing

Dusseldorf The interim recovery on the German stock market is already over. After temporarily rising above the 12,900 point mark, the Dax turned around again and was quoted in afternoon trading around its closing price on Friday at 12,810 points. The leading index last stabilized at this level after the sell-off on Thursday.

Due to the Independence Day in the US, the US stock exchanges are closed on Monday. Due to the lack of momentum, sales remained low today. However, low sales do not mean low fluctuations. Especially on such days, just a few buyers or sellers are enough to move the market significantly in one direction or the other.

“The fact that the annual low from March was tested twice last week but not fallen below at least gives hope,” said portfolio manager Thomas Altmann from the investment advisor QC Partners.
