Dax turns negative – concerns about the gas crisis are growing

Dusseldorf The interim recovery on the German stock market is already over. After temporarily rising above the 12,900 point mark, the Dax turned around again and was down 0.5 percent in afternoon trading at 12,746 points.

Trading took place with an overall low sales volume. By late afternoon, only about 30 million papers were traded. Last month it was an average of almost 82 million shares a day. Such a low trading volume was expected in advance as there was no trading in the US due to the Independence Day.

“The fact that the annual low from March was tested twice last week but not fallen below at least gives hope,” said portfolio manager Thomas Altmann from the investment advisor QC Partners.
