Dax turns negative – Bayer the biggest loser according to quarterly figures

Dusseldorf Investors held back on Thursday: the Dax was down 0.6 percent in the afternoon at 15,808 points. There are just around 140 points between the daily high and the daily low.

The leading German index is dominated by the quarterly figures on Thursday: Several large Dax companies opened their books even before the start of trading: Merck, RWE, Deutsche Telekom, Bayer and Hannover Re. The results were mixed.
