Dax taking a breather – Three reasons why the rally is far from over

Dusseldorf There is a quiet start to the week on the German stock market. The leading German index traded unchanged at 15,624 points in the first hour of trading.

After five positive trading days in a row, such a breather should not come as a surprise, profit-taking would also be common. Because since March 20, the Dax has risen by more than 1200 points – an increase of almost eight percent within just ten trading days.

Last Friday, only 50 points were missing from a new high for the year. The previous Dax high in 2023 is 15,706 points. In the past week, the Dax managed an increase of 4.5 percent, in the rather difficult stock market month of March an increase in value of 1.7 percent.
