Dusseldorf The year-end rally on the German stock market continued on Friday. With today’s daily high of 16,122 points, the Dax marked a new record high. The previous record from yesterday Thursday was 16,114 positions. The German benchmark index ended the week almost unchanged from the previous day at 16,094 points; on a weekly basis, it increased by 0.25 percent.
It was a pleasant week on the stock market – at least for those who bet on rising prices. There were a total of three new record highs, and so far there is much to suggest that the previous records are just a stopover.
