Dax is heading towards 16,000 points

Frankfurt The German stock market appeared friendly on Friday afternoon. Supported by good economic data from China and the reverberations of the positively received ECB interest rate increase from the previous day, the Dax gained around 0.7 percent to around 15,911 points by late afternoon.

This means that the visually important mark of 16,000 points is again within reach, a level that the German leading index last exceeded on August 31st. By late morning, the stock market barometer had already risen to 15,989 points. However, a weak start to trading on Wall Street slowed the Dax on its way up.

The highest profits below the standard values ​​in the afternoon were recorded by Brenntag, Rheinmetall, Siemens Healthineers, BMW, BASF and Continental, each with a markup of more than two percent. Only a few DAX stocks lose easily.
