Dax is back on course for recovery

The leading German index had reached several new record highs in the last stock market year.

Dusseldorf After the initial shock at the beginning of the Ukraine war on Thursday, prices on the German stock market have climbed significantly again. The Dax even rose to 14,249 points in the first hour of trading, but profit-taking then began. The stock market barometer is currently at 14,082 points, an increase of 0.2 percent.

The index was already able to stabilize during trading on Thursday. After slipping to a new annual low of 13,807 points, the Dax finally closed at 14,052 points, down four percent.
