Dusseldorf For two days in a row, the leading German index tried in vain to sustainably break the 16,000 point mark. At the end of the week, the Dax tested lower areas again. The stock exchange barometer closes at 15,883 digits, a drop of 0.9 percent. The Dax closes at its daily low and the lowest level since Tuesday of this week.
With the daily high on Thursday of 16,090 points, the Frankfurt benchmark seemed to pave the way for higher prices, but this breakout was short-lived. At the end of trading, the index was at 16,032 points – an increase of 0.1 percent.
The minus on today’s trading day is not yet a cause for concern. The Dax remains in a “chart technical no man’s land”, as the technical analysts of HSBC Germany put it in their morning commentary today.
