Vladimir Putin would like to give the impression that the Russian people are united behind his attack on Ukraine. But the criticism of the invasion within Russia apparently extends to the highest circles of society: Elizaveta Peskov, daughter of the President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, published an anti-war slogan on her Instagram live story on Friday.
Against a black background on her Instagram Story, the 24-year-old posted “HET BOЙHE” – in English: “No to war.” This slogan is the main slogan used by Russian demonstrators to protest the invasion of Ukraine. Elizaveta Peskow has over 180,000 followers on Instagram.
