CZ Responds to Binance Claims: Another New FUD!

According to the news published by Reuters today, the crypto exchange Binanceplays a role in Iran’s financial access to which almost the whole world imposes sanctions under the leadership of the USA.

Allegedly, Binance has facilitated $8 billion worth of trade originating from Iran since 2018.

According to Reuters researchers, 75% of crypto money transfers between Iran and Binance consist of only one type of altcoin. Iranians are heavily using Tron (TRON), one of the privacy-promising blockchains, to circumvent sanctions.

The news of Reuters came as it was spoken that an investigation conducted in the past about the Binance exchange in the USA was once again taken off the dusty shelves.

“This Kind of FUD News Is Often Made”

Chagri Poyraz, the director of Binance dealing with sanctions, wrote an article on the exchange’s blog after the allegations.

Poyraz announced at the beginning of this week that they discovered some transfers originating from Iran and that they took action to freeze the accounts that made transactions as soon as they realized this situation.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao reacted sharply to the allegations. CZ says that his last interview with Reuters reporters was not very positive and that’s why negative news was deliberately written about him.

It is known that FUD news is usually made through Binance, since it was the largest stock exchange in the world before. In particular, it is known that institutions or individuals who want to manipulate the market take action through Binance.
