Cryptocurrency Payment Provider Alphapo Has Suffered A Major Hack Attack

Alphapo, a major payment processor, was hacked and various cryptocurrency lost over $23 million in units.

The attack was reported on Twitter by cryptocurrency detective ZachXBT, who has been tracking the stolen funds across different blockchains.

According to ZachXBT, hackers hacked Alphapo’s Ethereum, Tron And bitcoin emptied their hot wallets for They then bought more ETH using Ethereum and Tron tokens and bridged it to the Avalanche network. Bitcoins were also moved to another address.

One of the customers of the platform, HypeDrop, confirmed the hack in his statement and said:

“Our provider is currently working on solving some new issues on their part, especially they are facing issues with withdrawals of BTC, ETH and TRX as well as deposits for ETH and TRX.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide you with an update as more information becomes available.”
