Critical Move From These Altcoin Developers! Access to Ethereum Contracts!

Altcoin Cardano users will soon be able to Cardano (ADA) using your wallet Ethereum It will have access to Virtual Machine (EVM) contracts, increasing the network’s utility for developers and users.

Altcoin Cardano Users Will Soon Be Accessing Ethereum dApps Directly From ADA Wallets

This will happen thanks to an upcoming feature on Milkomeda, a network that connects blockchains like Cardano and Algorand to EVM contracts.

“Milkomeda (Cardano’s EVM layer) is launching a feature that allows EVERY Cardano user to redeem EVM contracts directly from ANY Cardano wallet,” said Sebastien Guillemot, CEO of Milkomeda late on Thursday.

“Milkomeda is soon enabling staking rewards for all EVM users, including smart contract developers,” Guillemot said, adding that staking rewards from Cardano products built on Milkomeda will be paid out “automatically every 5 days.”

An Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) refers to the environment in which all Ethereum accounts and smart contracts live and serves as a virtual computer used by developers to build decentralized applications (dapps).

When used on other blockchains, EVMs can allow developers to create dapps and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications similar to those on Ethereum.

This feature will allow Ethereum application developers to develop applications on Cardano’s network using Solidity, the computer language used to code Ethereum, without the need to install new toolsets or learn a new language.

Such applications will then only be used with Cardano tokens instead of ether, increasing utility for holders.
