Corona: Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania increases pressure on unvaccinated people | Regional

Schwerin – 2G applies from warning level “Orange”!

Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is tightening the measures in the fight against the corona pandemic. Cities and counties that reach the “orange” level on the state’s own corona warning lights must expect tougher regulations in the future.

Means: Access to restaurants, theaters, cinemas, museums or swimming pools, among others, is only allowed to vaccinated or convalescent people (2G) if the numbers continue to rise.

And that could be the case very quickly. At the moment, all districts are still set to “yellow” at the Corona traffic light, but the values from which the switch to “orange” is to be tightened. “Please get vaccinated”, appealed Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (47, SPD) after yesterday’s special cabinet meeting.

Children under the age of seven are exempt from the 2G regulations. For seven to 17-year-olds, a daily test is sufficient until the end of the year.
