BYD, a world giant with its wide electric product range, premium design and pioneering battery technologies, is preparing to make a strong entry into the Turkish market. İsmail Ergun, an experienced name in the automotive world, was appointed as the head of the Turkey structure with the title of General Manager responsible for all operations.
Although Turkey imposes an additional 40 percent tax on electric cars coming from China in order to balance the competition and prevent other brands from being crushed and eliminated from the market, BYD will still continue to offer more than its competitors at an affordable price.
