The preliminary investigation conducted into the allegation that Meta Platforms, Inc. violated Article 6 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by connecting its newly launched application called Threads with the Instagram application was decided by the Competition Board.

The Competition Board, which discussed the information, documents and findings obtained in the preliminary investigation at its meeting dated 23.11.2023, found the findings serious and sufficient; Meta Platforms Inc. It decided to open an investigation against him, number 23-54/1031-M.

What does Article 6 of the Law on the Protection of Competition say?
