Comeback! – “TV total” back – TV

It just doesn’t work without it.

A world without “TV Total”. This has been a reality at ProSieben for six years. The station could not really fill the gap left by Stefan Raab (55).

In the summer, the “Spiegel” reported that the cult show should return. Raab wants to produce the show himself with his company Raab TV. At the time, however, ProSieben denied plans to bring what was once the biggest draft horse back into the late-night program.

As it now turns out, the comeback is being worked on. According to “DWDL”, a first test episode was recorded for the new “TV Total” in Cologne. Raab and his company are said to have been very satisfied with the result.

Station spokesman Christoph Körfer is still reluctant to give the industry portal the final confirmation, but this time his words sound different than the denials in the summer: “At Christmas and in the time before, heart’s wishes come true year after year. But when, how and where only Santa Claus and Nicholas know. And that’s good.”

The new edition could even hit our screens quickly, very quickly.

BILD has information that the show will be recorded next Wednesday and broadcast at 8.15 p.m.!

So by no means at as late airtime as it used to be, but at prime time. It’s not official yet, but producer Raab is deliberately supposed to keep a big secret about the show.

In the past few months, the program has therefore always been referred to as “Project Without a Name”, even within “TV Total”, as BILD learned. Work has been going on since last year.

No secret on the other hand: moderation legend Raab will no longer act as a host himself. His successor is to be Sebastian Pufpaff (44), who is best known for his appearances on ZDF’s “heute show”.
