The series of best-selling cars has now become a tradition. However, we are making a small change in April. As you know, the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association announces the data for the previous month in the first week of each month. Before moving on to the best-selling cars of March 2024, we wanted to list the brands that sold the most in the first 3 months. Here are the best-selling car brands in 2024…
Chery is attacking! Here are the best-selling car brands!
We can say that the automobile market actually moved quite rapidly between the middle and end of 2023. Later, we saw a serious slowdown in the second-hand market with changing dynamics, loan conditions and interest rates. However, “has there been such a slowdown in the new car market?” As for the question, our answer is “no”.
As you may remember, we reported in February that the record of the last 10 years was broken. If we look at March, we cannot see record sales. However, we can note that there is no decrease in consumers’ demand for new cars.
When we look at the list of best-selling automobile brands in March, we see Renault at the top. The French group, which has gained momentum especially with models such as the new Clio, Austral and Megane E-Tech, has surpassed last year’s throne holder, Fiat.
Fiat, last year’s throne holder, is not very happy with the sales. The brand is experiencing serious declines in its sales, especially in the light commercial class. We can state that they aim to revive with factors such as the arrival of summer and new loan rates.
Coming to third place, we probably encounter Turkey’s “love it or hate it” brand. Chery, which is an indicator of the rapid attacks of the Chinese, is ranked 3rd on our list. The brand, which has increased its sales greatly, entered the best sellers list from the 3rd place and it seems possible that it can move to the 1st place.
