ChatGPT creator Sam Altmann wants to scan everyone’s eyes

Redmond, San Francisco Sam Altman is currently the most in-demand technology thought leader in the world. His company OpenAI has made programs with artificial intelligence (AI) an everyday topic via the voice robot ChatGPT. And so Altman himself is the real star at events by and with Microsoft boss Satya Nadella.

“We’re working with Microsoft to bring artificial intelligence to as many people as possible,” Altman said at an international technology conference in February. While OpenAI’s ChatGPT writes entire letters and even books, their Dall-E software can create images on command that look as deceptively real as photos.

With Whisper, the start-up has developed a technology that can convert audio recordings into text in almost 100 languages. And Altman, 37, isn’t finished with his ideas.
