While the interest in NFT became widespread among phenomena and artists all over the world, Turkish celebrities started to keep up with the trend.
Popular comedian Cem Yılmaz shared on his twitter account, “Is there anyone who wants NFT? I’m sending it to anyone who wants it. Trying is nothing.)” he said.
Afterwards, Yılmaz shared the link of the account opened in his name on Opensea, and added a woman’s painting named “This is a girl” to his collection as NFT. Listing his NFT at 1 Ethereum, Yılmaz started an auction that will last for 7 days.
One of his followers said, “No collection value but it’s still cmylmz so it goes all the way.” Responding to his comment, the comedian said in a humorous way, “Would you be here too :)))”.
Many artists with millions of followers take great interest in NFTs. We observe that many foreign players, football players and musicians create their own collections.
