Sylt – With the magnificent hood ornament “Spirit of Ecstasy” (also called Emily) in front, 17 noble bodies of the British luxury brand rolled across the island.

For the first time, members of the “Rolls Royce Club” met on Sylt for an excursion. The starting point on Hindenburgdamm was the fine “Nordpalais”, a private country estate.

Celebrity defender Paul Vogel (47, Munich) took part in the rally with the most exclusive model: a royal Phantom V. (Built in 1962, 8 cylinders, 164 hp, only 516 built).

The eternal top model of the elite body forge wears the royal two-color paintwork black and burgundy red.

The proud owner: “The car even has special seats for the bodyguards.”

Estimated price: more than one million euros.

A multi-million dollar entrepreneur from the Netherlands was among the 40 participants.

His treasure: a silver seraph (Bj. 2002, 5.39 m long, BMW V-12 engine, 326 hp, new price from 230,000 euros, 1570 times built).

The exclusive vehicles went to Sylt by car train. There was a tour via Kampen to List. We took the ferry to Havneby (Denmark) and then back to the “North Palace”.
