Can green hydrogen replace our natural gas?

Dusseldorf Hydrogen could replace fossil natural gas. The problem with this: Until now, hydrogen has still been produced from natural gas. Green hydrogen produced using electricity from renewable sources. are only available in very small quantities for demonstration purposes.

So can Europe’s project succeed at all? And if so, can green hydrogen really be a substitute for natural gas from Russia? Especially in the short time?

This is exactly what the new episode of Handelsblatt Green is all about. Hydrogen expert Michael Sterner and Gilles Le Van, Germany head of Air Liquide, one of the largest hydrogen companies in the world, will be there.
