After this point, you can arrange in detail the engine, transmission, body color, rim, upholstery and interior trim of the vehicle you will order. In addition, you can take a closer look at every step by creating a 360-degree interior and exterior view.
While we were creating our order, we preferred BMW’s 5 series as the model. Although we did not make any changes in the engine options, we chose the M Sport on the design side, so the transmission changed automatically. In body colour, we chose Metallic Grey/Skyscraper, announced at the launch event and produced exclusively for BMW. Of course, it should be noted that we also use the 360-degree viewing screen on the left during color selection. In other words, although we cannot see the vehicle live, we had the chance to examine it in detail.
After choosing the body color, we customized the interior of the vehicle by clicking the interior design button on the left. Here we chose the leather upholstery in the color named Canberra Beige. Later, we replaced the existing 18-inch 662 M wheels with 19-inch 845 M wheels.
After customizing the design as we wished, BMW gave us a link that we can reach for 30 days. If we wish, you can share this link, which can be accessed from all devices, with our friends and family to get their opinions, or you can make a pre-booking or request a test drive through the choices we made within this 1-month period.
Of course, we went to the reservation step by logging in as a member (if you are not a member, you can register via your e-mail address). Afterwards, we selected the closest Borusan Oto İstinye branch and proceeded to the payment stage. Here, a prepayment of 75 thousand TL was requested from us. It is possible to do this by credit card or money order.
After the payment, you are called by the authorized dealer for both order confirmation and information about the continuation of the process and the delivery date. Let us state that if the prices change until the vehicle is delivered to you, it will be reflected in the general total. However, if you stop buying, your prepayment will be transferred back to you.
After placing the order, you can download the BMW Turkey application for iOS by clicking here and Android by clicking here to see the status of the vehicle. Then, by logging into the application, we can see whether the vehicle is in production, on the road or in the distribution center, like an online shopping.
If the vehicle is ready for delivery, you are directed to the authorized dealer you have chosen before payment. However, if a second vehicle with features close to the order you created arrives at the dealer during this waiting period, you are asked whether you would like to buy this version instead of waiting any longer.
