Frankfurt The capital markets are reacting to developments in the Ukraine war with violent price fluctuations. The fear barometer for Germany’s leading index, the VDax, shows that leading stock indices, especially in Europe, are four times as violent as in the past twelve months. The Dax and the leading euro zone index, the Euro Stoxx 50, have lost more than a fifth of their value for the year.
