Shiba Inu (SHIB), a meme coin that is quite popular with whales. Frequently, we witness the emergence of a new SHIB whale. The last “newborn” SHIB whale recently purchased 1.29 trillion meme coins worth $34.88 million.

Etherscan.io recently reported that an anonymous whale appeared and received a large stack of 1,296,926,801,221 (1 billion) SHIBs worth $11,983,603 ($11 million) in its first transaction, which it performed about 16 hours ago.

How Many SHIBs Have Been Burned Today?

At press time, the Shiba Inu burn rate seems to have taken some hit. About 5,836,659 SHIB tokens have been sent to a dead-unused wallet in the last 24 hours. Therefore, the burning rate decreased by 56 percent compared to yesterday.

Also, the burn rate of SHIB has decreased significantly in the last month. In October, 881.73 million SHIB were removed from circulation in 176 separate transactions. In November, approximately 666,903,322 (666.90 million) Shiba Inu were burned.

Also in the last few days, the price of SHIB has gained more than 5% since November 28. At the time of this writing, the leading meme coin is trading at $0.00000922. That’s 89% lower than the all-time high of $0.00008845 last year in October.
