The South Korean group, which started its music career 9 years ago -in 2013- as Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, has disbanded as of today. The group’s fan base, called ARMY, expressed their sadness on social media.

The seven-member group consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook often wrote and composed the lyrics together. Although they initially focused on hip hop, over time they moved from R&B to K-Pop.
Their first recognition was with their single 2 Cool 4 Skool, which they released in 2013. They later released their first Korean studio album, Dark & Wild, and Japanese one, Wake Up, in 2014. But their real success came with their 2nd Korean album Wings, which they introduced in 2016.
