Borsa Istanbul (BIST 100) index started the day at 8,275.14 points with an increase of 0.4 percent.
In yesterday’s transactions, the BIST 100 index rose to 8,389 points during the day, but closed at 8,242 points with a decrease of 0.75 percent due to intensified sales in the last hours. In dollar terms, the index decreased to 302 dollars compared to yesterday’s closing.
Today, as Borsa Istanbul started the day with the influence of buyers, stocks in different sectors showed different performances. Insurance, SME and construction sectors stood out among the sectors that started the day positive. Information technologies, technology and tourism sectors were among the sectors that started in minus.
Among the stocks that made a fast start to the day were CIMSA, SKBNK, CANTE, KCAER and SMRTG, which are included in the BIST 100 index. On the other hand, the leading stocks that started the day with selling were GWIND, HEKTS, YYLGD, SASA and ULKER.
As of 11:30, the Borsa Istanbul 100 index is at 8,373.13 with an increase of 0.38 percent. While the stocks that lost the most value were ULKER and TUPRS with a decrease of 3 percent, the ones that gained the most value were GESAN with an increase of 5.33 percent, AYDEM with an increase of 5 percent and SMRTG with an increase of 4.60 percent.
