Bitcoin Exchange Mt.Gox Postpones Registration Deadline Once Again!

Tokyo-based bankrupt Bitcoin (BTC) exchange Mt. Gox announced that it has delayed its payment plan.

In a statement published on the Mt.Gox official website on March 9, it was stated that the date of filing for creditors and the date on which payment is scheduled have changed. In the note shared by the exchange, deadline for creditors from March 10 to April 6 reported to have been delayed. On the other hand, in the previous announcement 30 September 2023 designated as repayment date is postponed to October 31, 2023 declared.

Stating that the aforementioned postponement process was carried out so that all victims could complete their applications in full, the exchange stated that the next extension request could be met negatively and therefore the victims should register as soon as possible. Approx. Mt.Gox currently has to pay 142 thousand Bitcoins, 143k Bitcoin Cash (BCH) And 505 million dollars exists.

This isn’t the first time Mt.Gox refunds have been delayed, either. Mt. Gox’s liquidation team, in a statement released on January 6, last October 31 July Bitcoin distribution date determined as by September 30 have been delayed had announced.
