Peter Brandt Criticizes Those Who Use Bitcoin Laser Eyes As Twitter Profile Picture In 2021
In a recent Tweet, Peter Brandt stated that almost no one who added a “laser eye” to their Twitter profile in 2021 could predict that every BTC purchase made at that time would turn into a losing trade in 2022.
Brandt also reminded that the number of people who made the “laser eyes” Twitter profile picture at that time was very high.

Brandt admitted that he himself could not predict that BTC will remain below the $20,000 level for several months in a row this year.
Another famous trader, John Bollinger, the inventor of the Bollinger Bands TA indicator, also joined the discussion. However, Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy company, also spoke on the subject.
Michael Saylor told Brandt that the “laser eyes” movement is a sign of commitment to Bitcoin alone “based on its ethical, technical and economic superiority towards alternative assets”:

Saylor reminded Brandt that all major assets, not just BTC, have been on the decline in the past 12 months. That’s why Saylor tweeted, “We don’t trade bitcoin, we hodl.”
John Bollinger joined the discussion, saying it was “a bit rude” for Brandt to say this about BTC and “laser eyes”. In response, Brandt re-criticized the “arrogance of the laser eyes movement” and reminded BTC supporters that dogmatic thinking can be dangerous.
