Binance has announced that they will be rebuilding their wallets to deal with a technical issue that caused multiple erroneous Dogecoin transfers and freezing of all user accounts.
Binance users complained that their accounts were frozen by the platform during Dogecoin transfers. Binance, on the other hand, announced that a recent software update caused user accounts to freeze in response to these complaints, and that they would redesign the wallets to fix the problem. Binance mentioned that, unlike other crypto asset trading platforms, they use different infrastructure for Dogecoin.
The reason for this issue to come to the fore was Elon Musk’s tweet targeting Binance CEO Changpeng. Elon Musk used the phrase “suspicious” for errors in Dogecoin transactions and asked what was going on. Then came the response from Binance. Binance said that there was no doubt in his answer and that it took time to redesign the wallet system.
Binance CEO’s reference to Elon Musk’s exit
Binance CEO, in a post on Twitter, asked what was going on about a technical error that caused Tesla to recall 12 thousand vehicles. In response to this tweet, Elon Musk said that he did not use Binance and raised this issue for Dogecoin holders.
