Binance announced in its latest announcement that it has delisted 3 cryptocurrencies.
The following statements were included in the announcement regarding these cryptocurrencies, which only have BTC parity on Binance;
“Dear Binance Users,
At Binance, we periodically check to ensure that every digital asset we list continues to meet the high standard we expect. If a coin or token no longer meets this standard or market conditions change, it will be subject to further inspection and may be delisted if necessary. Thus, we believe that we protect all our users in the best possible way.
We take many factors into account when making these checks. Here are some factors that influenced our decision to delist digital assets:
Team commitment to the project
Level and quality of development activities
Trading volume and liquidity
Network stability and security against attacks
Network/smart contract stability
Public communication level
Prompt response to our periodic due diligence requests
Evidence of unethical/fraudulent behavior or negligence
Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
Based on the results of our most recent checks, we have decided to remove the following tokens from the list and cease trading of these tokens in all trading pairs as of 12:00 PM ET on 27/12/2021:
AppCoins (APPC)
Everex (EVX)
Raiden Network (RDN)
Please be aware:
Removed trading pairs: APPC/BTC, EVX/BTC and RDN/BTC.
All trading orders will be automatically removed after trading is stopped on each trading pair.
To view your assets after trading has been stopped, please make sure you don’t check the “Hide small assets” option on the Funds page.
For these tokens, deposits made after 03:00 on 28/12/2021 will not be credited to your account.
Withdrawal of these coins and tokens from Binance will continue to be supported until 13:00 on 28/06/2022.
Thank you for your support as we continue to evolve the crypto ecosystem to support transparency and long-term, sustainable growth.”
