Binance supports Lisk update
Binance has officially announced support for the upcoming Lisk (LSK) network upgrade and hard fork. This momentous event is scheduled to take place around 13:00 UTC on December 5, 2023, at exactly block height 23,390,991. To facilitate this process, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of Lisk tokens starting at 12:00 on the same day. More importantly, trading of Lisk tokens will continue unaffected during this period. The exchange says it is committed to managing all technical aspects of the upgrade to ensure a seamless experience for its users.
Delist move has arrived for Liquid Swap
In parallel, Binance Liquid Swap will remove certain liquidity pools as of December 6, 2023, 07:00 UTC, as part of its ongoing efforts to optimize the trading experience. Notable couples affected include:
AAVE/BNB, AAVE/ETH, AAVE/USDT, AVAX/USDT, BCH/BNB, BCH/USDT, CAKE/USDT, CHZ/USDT, COMP/BTC, DOT/BNB, DUSK/USDT, DYDX/BTC, DYDX/ USDT, EDU/BTC, FIL/USDT, FTM/USDT, GALA/USDT, GMT/BTC, GMT/USDT, HOOK/BTC, ICP/USDT, INJ/BNB, MANA/USDT, MATIC/BTC, NEAR/BTC, NEO/USDT, RUNE/USDT, SHIB/DOGE, SOL/BNB, TRX/USDT, USDC/USDT, VET/BTC, VET/ETH
The assets of users who hold positions in these liquidity pools will be automatically transferred to their Spot wallets at the specified time. It is important to note that this delist will not affect trading of the relevant pairs on Binance Spot.
New trading pairs arrived on the stock market
In addition, Binance is preparing to open new trading pairs on November 30, 2023 at 11:00 UTC. These include BLUR/FDUSD, DYDX/TRY, SUPER/FDUSD, USTC/FDUSD and USTC/TRY. Representing a fiat currency, TRY does not include any other cryptocurrencies. Users will also enjoy zero maker fees on FDUSD trading pairs until further notice.
