Big problem on M2 MacBook Pro!

Apple held the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) or, as it is known in our country, the Apple World Developers Conference at the beginning of last month. New versions of operating systems and 2 new MacBook models were introduced here. These devices were expected to go on sale for a while. As a matter of fact, the Pro model met with users. Air, on the other hand, opens for pre-order next week. But M2 MacBook Pro users complain about overheating.

The heating problem with the M2 MacBook Pro is on the agenda once again!

M2 MacBook Pro users say that the device cannot cope with the heat under heavy workload. There are several different reasons for this. First of all, there are those who think that Apple has not done a good job with the cooling fan, as it did with its Intel processor models in the past years.

Another accepted claim is that Apple exaggerates the silent operation. Some users, who put the device in various performance and stress tests, recorded and published the result. As far as we can see here, the device is too late to start the fans.

Pre-order date of MacBook Air with M2 processor has been announced!

In fact, in a test, people trying to understand that the fan starts to work when the processor temperature rises, run performance tests such as Cinebench R23 one after another. The fan is expected to run when the processor first reaches 93 degrees Celsius. However, it is observed that there is no interference until it reaches 101 degrees.

At this point, the fans kick in and start spinning (slowly) up to 1,500 RPM. Although the temperature drops to 96 for a while, then it rises to 102 degrees. Fans speed up to 2,800 RPM. Since this speed is enough to reduce the temperature to 101 degrees, the fans increase the speed up to the range of 3,800 / 4,000 RPM, reducing the temperature to 90 degrees.

Therefore, people criticize why we preferred the Pro model with active fan cooling system instead of MacBook Air with M2 processor if we were going to encounter such a heating problem. However, as it is understood, this problem is generally caused by the fans being activated too late.
