Best in class: MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ introduced!

One of the reasons for the rapid growth of the smartphone world, where the competition is at a high level, can be shown as the development on the processor side. MediaTek, one of the most important names in the processor industry, continues to produce processors for medium and low-end phones as well as flagship models. The company introduced the Dimensity 6100+ processor, which will attract attention with its performance.

Dimensity 6100+ with 5G modem

MediaTek has added another relatively stronger player to the near-mid-range Dimensity 6000 series. The Dimensity 6100+ has an octa-core architecture based on the 6nm manufacturing process with 2x Cortex-A76 large cores and 6x Cortex-A55 efficient cores. Supporting 108 egapixel camera sensors, the processor offers video shooting up to 2K 30 FPS.

The processor, which aims to provide 20 percent more effective downlink speeds compared to the same class processors in its competitors, uses a 5G modem. It also supports 10-bit displays with one billion colors and a refresh rate of 90Hz to 120Hz. MediaTek stated that Dimensity 6100+ supported phones will be available in the third quarter of 2023.
