One of Turkey’s oldest clubs Besiktasannounced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Rain, a crypto asset platform serving global markets.
According to the agreement signed between Beşiktaş and Rain, Rain will make an agreement for “south tribune sponsorship” as of March 16, 2022 and chest sponsorship of shirts for 12,250,000 Euros + VAT, starting with the 2022-2023 season, until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
“This Agreement Will Make a Great Contribution”

We will be together for 2 years. We named one of our stands after Rain so they could be with our fans. I believe that Beşiktaş’s contribution to Rain will be great.”
Rain Turkey CEO Mehmet Çamır, who spoke at the ceremony, made a statement that “we believe this agreement will have an important place in the history of Turkish football”. In the continuation of the statement, Çamır, who believes that a new page has been opened for Rain with this agreement, also stated that he believes in the crypto sector in Turkey and that they think it has a very different place in this sector. He added that they would be proud to stand side by side with Beşiktaş.
Besiktas Token Future?
Answering the questions in the question-and-answer section of the ceremony, Ahmet Nur Cebi also answered the question about whether Beşiktaş will issue a fan token. Chairman: “We are sensitive to this issue as we want those who will invest under the name of Besiktas not to be harmed. For this reason, the process may take a little longer, but we are working on it.”
Finally, Rain Turkey CEO Çamır added that Rain will offer privileges to Beşiktaş fans, and that they will be announcing this in the near future.
