Banks Rise While Stock Market is Soothing

Borsa Istanbul, which witnessed an increase of 3.2 percent in yesterday’s transactions, started the new day on a horizontal negative note with a 0.2 percent decline.

Borsa Istanbul, which completed the day with a rise of 3.2 percent with 5,661 points, continued its rise with the expectation of “rational economic policies” after its new cabinet. The stock market, which rose from breaking its trend yesterday, started the new day with a slight depreciation of 0.2 percent. As of 10:40, BIST-100 remains stable at 0 percent and continues to be traded at 5,600.

ALFAS, which was traded at the ceiling price yesterday among the stocks in the BIST 100 index, became the most appreciated stock at the opening with an increase of 5 percent today. It was followed by TMSN, FENER and PSGYO, which also recorded partial increases. The most declining stock was KLRHO with a 5 percent decrease in the first transactions in the BIST 100 index, followed by SASA and HEKTS with a 2 percent decrease.

In BIST 100, MIATK and BURVA were among the highest rising shares along with ALFAS. DOGUB, on the other hand, started the day at the base price, followed by KLRHO, with MARKA and IMASM sellers.

Banking Stocks Diversify Positively

Contrary to the slight losses and horizontal course observed throughout the index, banks welcomed the day with a positive course. While the banking index is at a premium of 2.44 percent as of 10:40, İşbank shares are on the rise with 3.31 percent. Just behind İşbank is Garanti Bank shares, which are trading at 30.86 with an increase of 2.74 percent.
