Apple is working overtime for M2 Macbook! Here’s why

Almost a month after the introduction of the Macbook Air and Pro models with M2 processors, demand for the M2 Macbook Air continues to be high due to the relatively low supply. When we look at Apple’s website, those who want to buy the basic model two to three week waiting period is given.

Due to the coronavirus and the chip crisis, Apple has had problems in product supply for a long time. When the iPhone 13 series was first offered for sale, it was almost impossible to find in our country, and due to limited stocks, prices were much higher than the recommended price by most of the sellers.

Apple tries to keep up with demand for M2 Macbook Air

Recently, we have seen that this situation has eased. Delivery times, which used to take weeks for most Mac models, have dropped to less than a week or even 1-2 business days. However, the supply problem remains for some models.

The two exceptions here are the Mac Studio, the most powerful Mac you can buy, and the iMac with the 24-inch M1 processor. While those who want to buy Mac Studio are given a delivery time of at least 1 month, this period varies between 3 and 4 weeks for iMac models.

For Mac Studio with M1 Ultra processor with 20-core CPU and 48-core GPU, Apple Turkey’s delivery time 8 – 9 weeks around.

Since Apple is currently running its Back to School campaign, it is normal to see intense interest in Macbook Air models with M2 processors. In the third quarter of 2022, Mac revenue fell to $7.3 billion from $8.2 billion a year ago.
