iPhone 16 Pro models will have a tetraprism lens
The iPhone 15 series attracted attention with its camera capabilities. So much so that Apple takes care to keep the camera capabilities of its devices at the highest level. iPhone 15 has better camera capabilities and better performance than its predecessor. Apparently, this development will also occur in the series that will be introduced in 2024.
The strongest player of the series, iPhone 15 Pro Max, took the stage with a tetraprism lens that allows telephoto optical zoom to increase from 3x to 5x. Judging by the information received, the technology giant will offer two models using these lenses in the next series. This time, the iPhone 16 Pro models will use tetraprism lenses.
Previous leaks had said that the expected series would use better sensors. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, who makes news about Apple products, the iPhone 16 camera will feature a stacked rear camera sensor design. Rumor has it that the iPhone 16 series will receive improvements to the 48-megapixel wide-angle camera, telephoto and ultra-wide camera lenses. It is also among the information that it will have an eight-piece hybrid lens consisting of two glass and six plastic.
On the other hand, the screens will become larger in the iPhone 16 series. According to information that has emerged in the past weeks, iPhone 16 Ultra will come with a 6.9-inch screen. Additionally, Apple analyst Mark Gurman stated that the iPhone 16 standard models will be 6.3 inches. According to some claims, Apple will hide the Face ID sensor of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max models under the screen.
