The US Patent and Trademark Office has revealed Apple’s new keyboard patent application. Technology giant Apple aims to solve many problems in MacBook keyboards with this patent application. So, what’s in Apple’s new keyboard patent application? Let’s take a look at the details of the news together.
Apple solves many keyboard problems thanks to a new patent
MacBook keyboards have backlight technology that only appears in the dark. In addition, the keys inside the keyboard have pre-printed labels. Therefore, the keys are not changed and are not suitable for long-term use. Because it is not possible to change it after using it for a long time and losing its function. Apple customers often say that they suffer from this reason.
Technology giant Apple also offers solutions in the new keyboard patent to eliminate these problems. According to the new patent, Apple offers a keyboard that will have holes for the bottom layers of each key. The lighting under the keyboard will illuminate to show different signs and letters.
The new Patent for Apple also explains for the keyboard:
“In some applications, light sources or displays may contain an array of LEDs, such as a display using micro-LED or OLED pixels. The number of holes in the keycaps can correspond to the pixels of the screen. Thus, each pixel of the screen can supply light to a single hole. In this way, light sources can be controlled to create glyphs that can be changed or adjusted between different shapes, letters, colors, symbols, animations, languages and other properties.”
